West Seneca, NY: Atlanta, GA-based Agile Cold Storage, LLC broke ground on a cold storage warehouse in New York on November 18th. Agile invests in state-of the art temperature-controlled warehouses throughout North America. Combining modern buildings, automation, and systems with a family culture, Agile has built a reputation as a superior service provider. The new 132,865 square foot multi-temp in West Seneca is targeted to open at the end of this year. Agile plans to invest $60.5 million and bring over 50 jobs to the community.
“I am very excited to bring Agile’s expertise in temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics to my hometown” said Agile President and CEO Don Schoenl. “Food manufacturers in Western New York deserve a partner that combines state-of-the-art technology and buildings with a family business culture. We would not have been able to start this project without support from our partners at Rosina Food Products, the Town of West Seneca, ECIDA, the Roux Group, and the State of New York. Our project in West Seneca will open in time for the next Bills season and we will begin hiring team members by the time the Bills start training camp next summer.”
