21 Mar Agile Cold Storage to Build in Joliet, IL
ATLANTA (March 21, 2024) Atlanta, GA-based Agile Cold Storage, LLC announces the start of construction on their seventh cold storage warehouse. The 200,000 sq ft development in Joliet, Illinois will open in March 2025 and be Agile’s first facility in the Midwest.

Agile’s state-of-the-art facility has easy access to I-80 and I-55 and is located within 15 minutes of the largest inland ports in North America. Some customers will use Agile Joliet as a Midwest distribution center while others will take advantage of the ideal location to ship and receive containers from the nearby UP and BNSF intermodal yards. The team in Joliet will provide a variety of value-added services including case picking, container loading & unloading, drayage, import / export services, blast freezing, tempering and beef and pork boxing.
